I'm astounded by the Blu-ray and 4K market today. It's typically low supply, low demand, but prices are still high. Whenever I see something inexpensive, I consider buying it so I don't have to pay more later on if I decide I want it.

Microeconomics: low supply equals higher prices, not lower. If there were unlimited stock and we could get them on discount on Amazon at any time, we wouldn't have to resort to the resellers.
