I was going to say that this is too expensive, but it's cheaper than buying three OLED monitors so...

I'm a 3d artist that uses dual monitors all day. Is it really a game changer to switch to an ultra wide?
Part of me would like to look straight forward instead of turning my head a little left for the main monitor. I do like being able to maximize my main Program on one monitor.

I had originally used three monitors for work (finance) but didn't like not having everything available directly in front of me, if you know what I mean. Eventually I got an ultrawide and it was incredible having it directly right there. Personal preference I guess, but that's just my experience. Hope it helps.

I would appreciate if someone can help me answer this- I have a XBOX one (older generation), that i am connecting to this monitor and the picture looks bad if i use the wide option if i don't, the picture doesn't fit the monitor, are there any settings i can use so that the picture looks nice and fits the entire monitor

Xbox One probably doesn't support ultra wide monitor out being so old. So it either stretches the picture to fit it which makes it look bad or it will have a 16x9 picture which will have the black bars on either side.

Consoles don't support any aspect ratio beyond 16:9.

If you have dual monitors now and hate the split, this would be alright. Gotta get used to not hitting that maximize button though.

Personally I prefer the large 16:9 42+ inch size, but the resolutions available right now aren't high enough.

I went from 2 27s to a 45in wide from LG. I knew the middle gap where two monitors came together bothered me over the last few years, but I don't know how much. I should've made this switch long ago.
