Paying for a brand name. Not worth $30.

That Project Farm video is problematic for two reasons.
  1. He was comparing carbide blades from some brands to HSS blades from others.
  2. The Milwuakee blade tested was an old model that isn't even made anymore.
The blades in this deal are US made and better than average, but I'd rather buy their more expensive carbide blades (and have fewer of them). Carbide blades last a lot longer than the cheaper ones.

Doesn't seem like the 8 piece kit comes with a case if that is important to you. The 5 piece and 9 piece kits do come with a case.

Pretty tempted to get the one with the case just to have the case and buy generic non-Milwaukee blades in the future

Buy lunch meat that comes in a reusable container. Make sandwich. Pack sandwich and blades in the container.... Off to work!

I'd take that video with a grain of salt because his setup resulted in a crooked cut with the blades bending to stay in the kerf causing excessive drag and heat buildup. He also didn't really touch on haw sharp they stayed or how long they'd last.

I had DeWalt blades that came with my DeWalt tool. I smoked them up first time using them. I may have been applying too much pressure to the cut tho I'm not sure
