So you are knocking on Samsung tablets because you prefer iOS? Then why bother commenting here if you have no experience or inclination towards actually using it? I personally have the S9 Ultra that I use every day because it is great for media consumption. I understand a big tablet is not for everyone, but there are enough of us out here that appreciate the additional real estate.

You can get an open box tab s9 ultra for as low as $575 in Best buy, I think it's a better deal since tab s9 uses 8gen2, and you don't need to trade in anything. best buy open box items are usually just like brand new.

Strongly against buying open box from BB. I would even recommend you to buy used than BB open box. We bought tens or hundreds of best buy open box before and most of them have issues here and there. We decided to not buy anything open box from BB since then.

I think BB's open-box selection is the worst among big-box retailers. They gave me an HP Chromebook instead of an Asus Chromebook last week. Beyond appalling.

If only using for sheet music it should be fine. Otherwise, it's pretty unwieldy IMO. I had the S7U and S8U iirc, and switched to S9+ a few years back. I use it to play off Musescore.

I really want a big portable screen just for watching YouTube. It is hard to justify trading in a S7 FE to get this although my kid would probably love playing Roblox on this.

I try to trade in my s8 ultra, and I have a edu account,

If I don't trade in, the original price with edu discount is 899

If I trade in s8 ultra which samsung says worth 600, then final price should be 299, but I saw 449 in the final price(the trade in value is actually 450, despite samsung says it worth 600), see picture

The mediatek on the s10 ultra is slightly faster though.
