if you guys are planning to use this, buy a graduated roller bottle for aroma oil. I bought mine from Aliexpress. You can find similar items from Amazon. I included a SS of it.
It makes applying the product much easier and you don't have to deal with much of the hassles that come with dropper. (waiting for it to dry and preventing it from flowing down) . Since it's graduated, you can apply 1ml precisely as well. Although my bottle from Ali came with an error where 1ml was marked as 2ml instead, but it still works fine. I wouldn't use those specialized hair applicators with multiple mini roller balls. They work less consistently than this bottle.

It 100% works for some causes of balding, but you can never be positive what your cause is.

I used this for a year then switched to the foam. Since you use this twice a day, that usually means bedtime. The drops dry very slow, so you have to remember to time it well before you go to bed. And remember - you have to use it every day for the rest of your life! The convenience factor of the foam makes it worth the additional cost ($100/yr vs. $40 here).

Make sure you read about the risks if you have cats. If they ingest this by licking your head it can be fatal.

I am on the fence of using it.. if I start using and stop, does it cause hair fall? If I slowly reduce it..does it still cause the hair fall?

Not related to the deal, but for those concerned about pets I was just learning about using red onion juice as a treatment. I have no idea if it really works but maybe something to look into.

You have to apply it every day for the rest of your life, or you'll lose any results.

Yes. Minoxidil has been proven to work. Don't listen to people who don't know anything and just swear up and down that there's no fixing baldness without a hair transplant. That being said, it doesn't work for everyone. Some people don't produce enough of the SULT1A1 enzyme for it to work. Some people also need to take finasteride, on top of minoxidil. For people who don't see results with this, it's always best to consult a doctor to see what the cause of their hair loss is, to determine if this is pointless for them, or if they just need to take other stuff with it.

If you stop using it, the hair that has regrown will fall out

You will only lose the hair it regrew, if you stop using. Not extra hair (I mean, you'll lose extra hair over time, because of your body, but not because of stopping minoxidil). You'll see a lot of misinformation, saying that you'll start losing more hair if you take this and then stop it. That myth started because people can't read. The directions clearly state that you only lose what you regrow.

This does not cure whatever caused your baldness, it just lets you grow the hair back. That's why people with hair transplants also end up going bald again, and are told to take minoxidil to keep even the transplanted hair; because whatever made you go bald the first time will make you go bald again. This stuff is also most effective when you first notice baldness, so if it's been years, this can still work, but the success rate drops a lot.

The most ridiculous shipping ever. $5.99 for one, becomes $11.98 for two and so on. What's up with that Costco!!

They do work, but it typically takes at least 4 months to see any results.
And this will only work on the back of your head.
If you have hair thinning/loss in the front you should look into getting a prescription for finasteride.

Do they not carry this in-store anymore? All I ever see in-store is the foam version which has additional undesirable ingredients.

I have most of my hair but I'm also in my 50s and no doubt it is getting thinner and my hairline is receding. I have used the foam off and on for a few year. I don't know if it works. I recently couldn't get the foam so I got this, the liquid. Oh god.. It makes my head itch and that is a side effect of one of the ingredients in this and not in the foam.

I'm going back to the foam but then again I don't even use it twice a day. I use it most days, at night, once a day.

I think the actual medication you ingest is probably a better option for most people.

Yes, minoxidil can initiate the growth of smaller hair follicles, and it doesn't need perpetual use like hair on the scalp. This is because scalp hair is susceptible to DHT and requires ongoing usage to counteract it. DHT does not affect facial hair, so the new growth is usually not impacted by discontinuation of the drug.
