I've had the tplink 1200 system for a few years, won't be buying another one. The reason I mention this, is because it wasn't the system I've always had problems with, it's the app that controls it. Every few months I have to reset the system for one reason or another, but Everytime I try to do it through the app it won't reconnect. I then have to manually cycle each unit.
The app showing usage is slow, a few minutes behind actual usage, so trying to determine products in use is difficult and takes a bit of time. (Like finding out which of the no name connections is my sons Xbox, or laptop, etc..)
Coverage is ok, but I had to put them all up near the ceiling to achieve that. Seems like too much interference at a normal level.
Maybe they fixed these problems, if so I wish they would push an update to these older devices.
This is not a good deal imo unless you have can Ethernet backhaul these together and actually have 6ghz devices.
6ghz is still very niche
here is the specs that matter
AXE5400
6 GHz: 2402 Mbps (802.11ax, HE160) without 160mhz its 1200mbps 2x2 radio
5 GHz: 2402 Mbps (802.11ax, HE160) without 160mhz its 1200mbps 2x2 radio
2.4 GHz: 574 Mbps (802.11ax)
I have ax5700
5 GHz: 3843 Mbps (802.11ax, HE160) 3x3 radio 1800mbps without 160mhz
5 GHz: 1201 Mbps (802.11ax) 2x2 radio
2.4 GHz: 574 Mbps (802.11ax)
So with the ax5700 i will have better wireless backhaul then the XE75 in most cases. Unless your spacing is line of sight with 6ghz with the decos, 5ghz will have better backhaul. However that backhaul will be shared with other 5ghz devices on your network with the XE75
I got ax5700 2 pack off ebay from the manufacture for $109. yeah they refurbished but definitely been worth it.

Ok… that deal was over 3 months ago… on Woot I believe. And those were factory reconditioned. Send a link if you can buy that now for that price.
I agree. Send the link. I could use a new wifi to separate the iot items.
