The baseus overheated my iPhone 16 and I'm returning it for a 7.5w charger instead.

I care more about my internal battery lasting a few extra years more than having fast charging times.
Bought two previously. They work great. You charge them with USB-C. They MagSafe stick to any new iPhone. They run war while wirelessly charging phone. Small button turns on led lights to show battery reserves. Work great. Buying more as gifts.

Every one of these things overheats my phone to a point it's not comfortable. Nothing about this model in particular, but the whole concept is flawed IMO

I own four similar types of chargers. They all run warm. Some will auto shut off after your phone is fully charged, but some will stay on until empty. These 5k .3" type should be used sparingly for emergency/convenience. The 10k with built-in cable and stand is better long-term.

I just got mine yesterday, not sure if they changed anything, but the battery recharged at 14w (off of a 30w power brick) which seemed decently fast

The old Apple magsafe battery pack never got more than a little warm. I can walk around with that comfortably in my pocket. All the 3rd party ones seem less efficient.

I have this and it gets very warm in your pocket. It does clearly say not to use in your pocket in the directions, but that's how I generally want to use these batteries.

Anybody know if this supports pass-through charging, charge phone and the battery pack simultaneously while on wired usb-c charging?
