I ordered yesterday night the Verizon version, it hasn't progressed from order received. Has anyone on the same boat? I wonder if Walmart is going to cancel it.
Nope I ordered Friday morning and still stuck in order submission stage. No movement

Well heck, it wont let me generate a NTP to port out on the website or by dialing #PORT. It says my account is ineligible, looks like they're going to make me stay active for 30 days. If it ends up in a free phone though I guess thats worth it but dang.

Edit: Chat was able to give me one.

Has anyone had issues making an new account with ATT to purchase their phones? I can't get any answers from ATT. I initially thought that it was due to my frozen credit but they are thawed at this moment. All 3 credit bureaus.

The error message says. " we weren't able to approve your application. To learn more, call AT&T at 8003310500"
Yes, I'm the same situation. I haven't found any solution yet.
Someone suggested I take the following steps:
  1. Go to an AT&T store with a govt ID and
  2. Try to open an account with a BYOD device, preferably with eSIM, and a new service plan.
  3. Once the account is opened, order the S24U from WMT using the newly opened account info
  4. When the new device arrives, transfer service from the BYOD device to the new device.
May be you can try this approach and see if it works.

Yeah, this works for existing ATT users, so if you can open an ATT account before by any other means you should be able to use that during the order.

Thank you! What if I activate the phone, and then cancel the service plan without doing SIM swap to unlock the phone? Will the phone be eligible to unlock after 60 days? Or the phone must be in active service for 60 days with AT&T in order to unlock?
You have request unlock code for att even after 60 days if not gonna do the att sim swap unlock method should of got verizon automatically unlocks 60 days after activation even if cancelled the line on postpaid.

Just noticed my order from yesterday already has a tracking number as well as received email asking me fish User ID registration with at&t, problem is after creating my online profile new phone number and device seem to appear there but still no account number or ways to make any payments, under billing center I get the message "You don't have any accounts linked to this user ID"
Is this normal or need to contact CS?

Walmart and Verizon hate you so much since you have helped many of us score this deal and their profits are now under the water. Your order will be canceled!

Just kidding! Walmart's online order fulfillments are usually slow over weekends. You may see progress on Sunday or Monday. This is why I am holding off placing my order until tomorrow to increase the chance that I am able to cancel the phone plan in 3 days of activation. Good luck with your order!

Wait for the phone to arrive and then activate it on the ATT network. It's possible they sent one of those prepaid phones but it's hard to tell. The phone activation might trigger the account to be in proper state.

For Verizon orders - after activating the device, if I port out the number and cancel the line, does the device payment become automatically due? And we can then pay it online (or as part of the bill)?

Does this work? If yes, what's the downside? I am lazy to go to the store to pay it off

Mine took a few minutes to show up after registration. Just keep refreshing the page. You should see the device show up and you can pay it off. I paid mine off before I recieved it.

Prepaid phones? is that what some users here been reporting getting? I was under the impression the "glitch" was Walmart not scanning devices the moment they shipped them out, but at the same time I also imagined that didn't applied to me since I got the second email from att asking me to finish setting up the account
I was just trying to rush the process because I have an at&t offer ($75 credit) on one of my credit cards that expires today
