Can I cancel my account by porting out or I have to call/chat to cancel? Thanks!
You can do either but I suggest doing it using chat so you and Verizon have proper logs for it. When the final bill comes you can also see it in the account etc (if it is still open)

You have to pay the sales tax on the full price here.
Sales tax on full price or discounted price? Bc OP said they paid sales tax on s24+ $360. Wouldn't that be the same as when you have to pay off the whole thing online? Just trying to figure out if I buy in store will it be the same price as buying online

I paid the sales tax on the $360. CA. tax 9.375%. 🤮
Wait I'm confused. So you paid sales tax on the $360 at the store? When you paid it off in the ATT APP did you have to pay sales tax again?

Which chase card shows this offer?

Seen a comment here that someone was able to do in the store.
I thought all of that expired now. Which card has $75 back?
Citi cards have $50 back.

Anyone knows if ATT allows split pay or custom amount payment? Got a couple of pay $100 get $75 back credit card offers that I would like to use as a new ATT customer if possible. Tia.
Anyone able to use multiple credit cards at the store? I called the nearby store and they said only one credit card can be used for paying device payment.

I got my final bill of $6.xx cancelled within 3days

Still have option of 'don't recognize this fee' even though it's showing activation is waived/ credited

Should I still click it?

Alright so it's sounds like you'll pay the same amount whether buying it online or going to the store. I'll probably go to my local store and see if they have any in stock. Thanks for the help. Do you know if I'll have to pay tax when I pay off the device online as well?

It's been almost a week now and those idiots at ontrac still haven't delivered the damn phone. What should I do? Order another and hope it doesn't get delivered by those idiots? And if both come, return one of them?

Returning these phones a big pain in the a** as you have to return it to Walmart and then cancel the account with the carrier separately. So I'd not order more if they are shipped by ontrac on your region.

It's been sitting in the next door state for a while now and their support is not good, I feel like I speak to bots. I just don't want to miss on this deal because my phone is due for a refresh (the ATT version is already out).

Yeah, especially for s24 ultra it's a very good price.

Does anyone successfully void the activation fee after 3 days of activation with ATT? How does it work? ATT has been giving me a runaround about the final bill.

1. 05/31 - Phone line activated
2. 06/03 - Phone received and paid off
3. 06/04 - Phone unlocked and phone line canceled
4. 06/05 - Phone bill received for prorated service fee plus $35 activation fee totaling $59.xx. Then disputed the activation fee via app on the same day and approved, email received confirming a credit will be applied next day

Since then I have been expecting another bill showing the activation fee removed and just billed for the prorated service fee. 3 days has passed but no update regarding billing. Contacted a rep via chat today and was told next bill will come in July. I told the rep I wanted to make a full payment now but I don't know how much I should pay. Rep said my bill is $59.xx due 06/24/25. I asked again I should have the $35 activation fee refund. Rep said the credit will show up on next bill. I asked the rep again what do I do with a statement credit for since I am no longer ATT customer and the phone line has been canceled. I don't want a credit. I want a refund. Then the rep said the credit will be mailed to me as a refund check next month.

I really don't trust what the rep said to me. Just wondering if any SD fellows have the similar issue and how their cases were handled?
