Why do we get tax charges on $0? I'm sure Verizon will add tax on the $10 per month as well.

Walmart collects the tax on the full amount. Verizon collects monthly payments, there should not be any tax on that AFAIK

Is the myATT app in the phone asking for it? I don't know of any other way than calling to reset,.call loyalty dept, they are willing to help out in most cases.

I think this the quickest way "Calling the AT&T Mobility Customer Care number at +1 800-331-0500 and stating "cancel" when the automated system prompts you. This often redirects you to the retention department. "

If you do att and sim swap to unlock it should $360 + tax + $10 or so.

edit: same for vzw but you have to wait 60 days for unlock.

Question about the unlock process. I got the phone yesterday and have been following the unlock steps. I put in the sim ATT sim and made some calls. The s24+ shows on the app and the website but I'm not sure if it's because I linked it. I've since put the ATT sim into an old samsung s9 phone but it's an unlock phone from Canada. I've rebooted and made some calls. Just waiting 24 hours from full payment before trying the unlock. The thing is on the app and Web portal the Samsung s9 doesn't show up. It's only showing as unknown device. I presume that is fine since it doesn't show the Samsung s24+ - the unrecognized device is showing on both the app and portal? I presume given that it's a Canadian phone or an older phone it just doesn't recognize it?
