I thought you need to pay $35 activation fee because you can't cancel within 3 days? Also, how much is tax?
For Att there is a way to get the activation fee voided even after 3 days, see pinned post. Tax will be on the phone price i.e on $360 for s24 plus. For Verizon if you are not able to cancel within 3 days, you will have to pay the activation fee.

My verizon is unlocked too now. Wondering if anyone has changed the firmware to unlocked one to get rid of verizon bloatware.
Is it safe to do now?

should be automatic as long as the phone is cellular or wifi connected. Phone pings samsung servers to determine unlock status.

Is this still active? Unable to order ATT "Unable to process order. Please contact the carrier." And Verizon asks for $620 down payment.

Mine also unlocked. Problem is after flashing XAA firmware S926U1 if I put Non Verizon SIM, first 5 minutes it works. Call/Data/SMS works fine. After ~ 5 minutes a pop up appeared "Enter network unlock code. Your phone isn't allowed to use this SIM card" . Called to CS and they informed that phone is unlocked. Any idea what is going on!Please find the screenshot https://imgur.com/a/JoF5BsE. This does not occur if I flash it back to S926U Verizon firmware. Non Verizon sim works fine.

I have never seen it with ATT unlocked phones after flashing to U1 XAA. You might want to ask here https://www.reddit.com/r/verizon/s/3FfpDfoScT? To be sure you did flash after the phone was unlocked right?

Yes. I inserted non Verizon SIM in stock firmware it shipped with to make sure call/sms/data worked. Post that only flashed to XAA.

And you are sure you are using U1 XAA like the one from here https://samfrew.com/download/Gala...U1OYM4BYF5. Also posting/searching in xdaforums might have a better chance for any solution

Yes. U1 XAA only. I don't see that pop up now after flashing back to XAA. Hopefully that is resolved automatically. Will keep you posted. Thanks for the Reddit link.

Please do! Verizon has traditionally locked the bootloaders on its phones, effectively binding the device to VZW firmware forever. Over the years, those who tried brute force found themselves with an unusable phone. Have not bought anything Verizon-branded for many years for this reason.

It would be great to learn they've changed their policies now to allow 1/XAA FW to be flashed. ... Or maybe this is old news and I'm the one needing to get with the times lol.

You can flash unlocked XAA firmware for a while now on veriozn phones, you will need a patched version of odin for samsung phones but apart from that its pretty straightforward. The problem here was a SIM unlock prompt which came after 5 mins of it working well so I am guessing it was some stale state but it will be interesting to know if that persists.

So it is working now? If so, can you post the site to get the XAA firmware and instructions?
BTW, was this for S24 Plus or Ultra

Am I looking in the right place "Community Notes"? I only see it for the ATT S24 ultra S928U not the Verizon S24 Plus.
