Mine is somewhat loud and cleaning it afterwards takes a moment. A normal vacuum is a better vacuum, but the Crosswave is great for spills/food/etc. on hard floors and low pile rugs. It's one of my favorites.
The Shark VACMOP, VM200 combines powerful suction & spray mopping in one disposable pad. Vacuum dry debris, scrub wet messes & toss the pad.

throwing away a bin every time you dump the vacuum seems absolutely WILD.

It is basically a swifter. But with added capabilities:
- you can spray the surface cleaner.
- it has vacuum that works pretty great.
We use it all the time at home. Small dirt, chips, dry food.. the vacuum will take care of it, then you spray the cleaner and give it a quick clean.
You can buy generic disposable pads from Amazon (even with subscribe and save).
This is NOT for liquid spills. For this type of cleaning you'll need a vacuum/mob with rollers type of cleaner.
Very convenient and would buy again.

This has a MUCH more powerful vacuum than the Swiffer. It's used daily to clean up after our kids who eat like cookie monster and leave crumbs and just filth everywhere, and it's super effective. The pads are wasteful, yes, but you can get these reusable microfiber pads (https://a.co/d/dq5zEwA) pretty cheap that make this able to handle more liquid cleanup. Coupled with these replacement filters (https://a.co/d/34pJH7B) you can minimize waste.
