So its better to buy it on June 1 provided the deal is still active.
The fact of the matter is that Costco is actively hostile to those that sign up for Costco memberships from third party membership offers like Groupon. I am stating this based upon my own personal experience and the knowledge of others' experience to those who might sign up for this offer thinking that everything will be "automatic" and won't involve any possible hassle.

I don't want to start the Costco membership now because Costco starts the membership on a monthly basis, not on the actual date of sign up. So if I start it now at the end of May, I essentially lose a month, correct?
I'm a member of BJs right now - does Costco Credit Card also offer 10 cents off gas??? Also - at BJs if you buy certain products that are marked - you also et another 10 cents off gas. At one time I paid near $2 for gas.
The thing I noticed here on SD - Costco offers really good prices on appliances and electronics. BJs not really. In fact I don't believe BJs sells appliance - just electronics. I believ Costco meats are better quality and price.
If the $50 was guaranteed I'd be all over this. Even the Exc membership for the additional $100. Can anyone comment on the delivery of this discount - is it immediate in the email?
