how are these minis when it comes to day to day task? or on the heavy load like running a simple single web server for dev purposes? I was thinking of getting one and throwing Linux on it and have it as a dev server.. nothing extreme ..

So while these are low-end processors, they are viable for a lot of tasks. And on top of that, they tend to use very little power when idle. Many people use them for things like home servers where someone doesn't need a lot of performance, but does want a system to be left on 24/7.

Got mine set up yesterday. Bought it for casual internet browsing and Roblox. Was surprised at how well it played some of the Roblox games without having to turn the graphics down.
