Why is it like this? The battery just runs out randomly. If you have three of them, be prepared for one to always not be working. Despite the battery is being the same, individual lights vary quite a bit.
Personally, I put them in drawers or cabinets. When I open a cabinet and the light comes on, isn't that nice? If it doesn't work, I'm OK with that. After all it's a cabinet, why would it have a light in it ?
