Probably the lowest price you will ever get a new PS5Pro for the foreseeable future given the US tariff situation. Great opportunity if you qualify for the AMEX offer as the savings would cover the cost of the disc drive add-on.

If you have a pro account with gamestop you can use your $5 monthly discount on the disc drive. Other option is to just wait for a deal if you don't need the disc drive right now.

Exactly. The real world difference = base PS5 quality mode at 60 fps instead of 30 fps. A negligible difference; still not worth it if you already own a PS5.

Need to step up to PC gaming with a RTX 4070 Super or better for a decent & noticeable upgrade.

That's true. I briefly owned a RX 7900 XT at the start of this year when GPUs were super scarce. I wanted to love it, but the AMD frame generation was 💩

So I returned it and recently got a 5090.
