I have been playing steady since release. It has a huge 4 player coop campaign, at least 30-40 hours of missions and side missions before you even get to end game, and end game has a lot of activities.
good story.
PVP is not recommended for beginners
even if only for story its worth 3 bucks all day.
there are tons of guns and skills to use, skills are impressive when your build is good
The loot mechanic is good but also complex and just explaining the gear unlock and mod system can take a while, but add a lot of depth to the game.

you can, in game, at any time, and a message asks you when you die, "Call for aid" or "Call for backup"
this puts you in a game wide queue to receive assistance from other player characters.
they will automatically join your game and start helping, but expect them to be FAR more powerful than you. They may also have mics you can hear.

If you try it and like it and would like an in game explainer of anything my Ubisoft name is UnusualDevices
feel free to friend me ingame and send me an invite.

To send me an invite, press shift-f2, click the social icon in the left column and type UnusualDevices in the bar.

Um because this will give you almost instant results (not have to sit through hours of YouTube reviews and sift through gaming forums). Plus this can open up a dialogue where he can engage in some Q&A if the guy has additional questions like how does it run or how buggy is it. With your logic, why even have remarks/questions on this site? I'm being serious here; how about people just post deals and not talk about said deal whatsoever. Does that work for you? 🤷

This game makes your GPU and CPU scream. My 5070ti was running 99% at 70C I know that temp isn't that bad, but I like it cooler. Watching the data the card was pulling 290 watts, 1.04v, 70C, OC'd to 3.1mhz and was pushing 200 fps at 1440 with everything maxed and resolution scaling to 100%. I backed down to no OC at all and was still getting stupid temps. Card with no OC was boosting to 2.8mhz so I went into the power curve. Went to .950v kept the speed at 2.8mhz and capped off the power right there. This did the trick. Now it pulls around 190 watts, .950v obviously, 2.8mhz, turned on vsync and capped frames at monitor refresh at 165. Now the temps are staying mid 50s and getting the 165 fps.

Long story short, under volt your GPU for this game because it'll make things toasty.

Sounds like a typical unoptimized Ubisoft game.

It's one of my favorite games along with Ghost Recon. This is a great price.

Exactly! I have no idea why people ask that question on here. As if people here are any more credible. You're getting reviews from strangers, regardless; and you're having to wait for an answer. I will just never understand that logic (or lack of).
I know right, almost as silly as (needlessly) correcting people's sentence structure in a video game thread Wink

I haven't played this game, but i think you expect too much while pushing 200fps
Start with 60

I found it insanely boring.
Run around and shoot npcs until they die and find new bits of gear that don't change the game much. Watch the numbers go up. Put about 10 hours in and was bored out of my mind for eight of them.
This is an insanely good game. if you find finding better gear and better stats boring, then none of the RPG games would suit you. I have over 10K hours on this game. This is all i Play (with Div 1 too). It's an absolute blast once you know what you are doing.

As a couple of others have stated; first one was better. Game is kind of geared for team play so if you don't have any buddies to co-op with, you will want to scoop out your eyeballs after a few days. Game is also very grindy so you better have a lot of time to kill LOL (the leveling up process takes hundreds of hours). And unless something has changed, game is very buggy last I checked. Div 1 would crash every once in a blue moon. Div 2 was worse than Div 1 at release, but somehow ubishaft managed to make the game even more buggy as time went on (they just piled on more and more trash without fixing the base game). Nvidia hardware seems to have more issues with the game than AMD, but knew plenty of people with AMD cards who would get lockups as well. Older hardware seemed to have less issues with the game. I'm not sure if I could recommend this at this point in time, but supposedly windows 7 was way more stable with it too.

That sounds like my experience with the First Descendent

I had around a lot of hours invested too (maybe around half of what you have) and the crashes were just getting way too bad. And don't even get me started on all the cheaters in the game (you could have video proof of people shooting through walls and around corners and ubi would typically do nothing). They don't seem interested in fixing anything, just adding more junk to this mess. I can't believe people are still playing it, I gave up around the time they introduced the diamonds to the gear (as if the whole proficiency deal wasn't grindy enough). Too much time wasted on this game.

Run it in DX12 mode in settings makes this work so much better in-game settings
