If you are instead looking for "softside" luggage, this one may be a better deal

My view is the PURPLE luggage looks gorgeous.

Note that the stand alone carry on PURPLE COLOR luggage in this thread is "sold out" in the "luggage set" where it sold combined with a 28" inch luggage.

It is but you still can't find a better value for THE QUALITY. PERIOD.

These likely will not go on sale.

Yes, but these are the ones that won't go on sale.

If you can't decide between this and the USB version that is $20 more, this review on Sam's web site might help

"I purchased this one ( https://www.samsclub.com/p/member...P03010893?) and the Member's Mark Hardside Carry-on Pro Spinner Suitcase (the one with the USB port; https://www.samsclub.com/p/member...P03013471?). I ended up using this one ( https://www.samsclub.com/p/member...P03010893?) due to the amount of space on the inside. Don't get me wrong - they are both the same dimensions on the outside. This one has more "bulk" storage inside. The other one loses some inside space due to the storage space needed for the front pocket. This one is great for someone who needs to store clothes and necessities for a week trip (still packed tight - its a carry-on!), as there is more room on the inside. It fit completely fine in overhead of the small jet I traveled on with United Airlines."

Note that the carry on that that reviewer mentioned, namely, ( https://www.samsclub.com/p/member...P03010893? ) is identical to the one that is in this thread for the 2 piece luggage, namely, https://slickdeals.net/f/18341248-sam-s-club-members-2-pc-member-s-mark-hardside-luggage-set-28-20-various-colors-140-free-s-h-for-plus-members?

100% polycarbonate, this is durable material. The Samsonite cases made of the same material I looked at are all over $100

And here's what Clark Howard had to say (see the link)

https://clark.com/travel/what-lug...recommend/

""I have decided through much use that the best deal on very reliable luggage is the private-label suitcases sold by Sam's Club. I find them superior to what I've seen generally buying luggage elsewhere. And particularly in comparison to what's sold at Costco.""

Any you know what's great, you can buy this even without Sams Club membership. For those who are not Sams Club members, one would just have to pay a 10% non-member surcharge so for this $70 luggage, the surcharge is $7, the price of Starbuck's coffee.

Why all 20 inch? The old day COs are mostly 21 or even 22
Well you need to ask yourself what are the measurements. Usually, wheel and the handle add up to 2 inches. So a roughly 20 inch luggage is 22" with the wheels.

The luggage dimensions in this Members Mark deal are:
Carry-on Packing dimensions: 20.2"H x 13.8"W x 9.2"D
Carry-on Overall Dimensions: 22.2"H x 14.5"W x 9.2"D

So with this Members Mark carry on, you would be taking the maximum sized one allowed on full service airlines, thereby maximizing your benefit. That said, given the quality materials/construction this luggage is 7.72 lbs but most non LCC carriers don't bother weighing carry-ons.
