This is another knock-off on the Knipex Pliers Wrench design, but at $18, it's less than half the price of the ICON (which is sold in 10"). The 7" size is a nice compromise size fitting in-between the small 5" and larger 10" pliers wrench sizes. The 7" has a 40mm jaw opening, so it should prove fairly useful for many home/plumbing/vehicle maintenance jobs.

About this item
  • CR-V Steel Drop Forged: The toolant plier wrench is crafted from CR-V steel which ensures superior strength and durability and zinc phosphate surface treatment for greater corrosion resistance
  • Wide Jaw Range: Maximum Jaw Capacity 1-1/2" 40MM, which is suitable for screwing nuts and pipes and breaking iron blocks, one tool to help you get a lot of work done
  • Labor-Saving Design: 10:1 Lever design helps you use less effort to complete each job; The curvature of the handle matches the natural curvature of the hand, and the ergonomic design reduces the burden on the hand and wrist during use
  • Quick & Self-Adjusting Jaw: Push lock button to quickly adjust the opening size by means of the groove lock mechanism and lift handle to quickly adjust the jaw position by gripping and unclenching the handles without having to reposition after each turn
  • Parallel Jaws: The pliers wrench features parallel smooth jaws that provide a secure and stable grip on fasteners which minimize the risk of rounding and increase efficiency

Thanks for the heads up!

The Toolant 7/10/12-INCH Plier Wrench set is nice @ $67.49.

Can lend these out and the Knipex stay in the toolbox. Smilie

Been wanting a button pliers wrench, as my adjustables suck. I'm always watching Knipex and Icon discounts, but hate to spend on a garage item that will rarely use. These should be fine for my needs….got the 10" at $22.99 👍

chinese steel/quality vs germany. too much slop/play on toolant brand its similar to klein lowes chinese version will get the small basic diy jobs but if you rely on it often buy knipex. you know the different once you use it if you dont clearly your not tool person or dont need it often

WORKPRO 7 inch pliers wrench is same price with coupon. If brand matters. Honestly, all of the non major brand name ones are probably made in the same factory.

Yep. The cheap stuff is great for a DIY beginner, a trunk toolkit, or basement/garage backup stash, but Knipex are the go-to for pliers wrenches in particular because the higher quality allows a slimmer head. Sometimes that extra millimeter makes all the difference.

junk deKlein made in china. bought it at lowes adjustment sucks bottom jaw alot play. small diy jobs are fine like turn nuts on your restrooms, faucet, washer.
i wished they would be still made in USA but its all about going retail and profitability. majority of klein stuff are forged in USA finished in mexico and now some or most of those are china.

Lobtex (Japan) and channelock wideazz (manufactured by irega in Spain) are great adjustable C-wrenches that stay far more parallel and don't slip.

But the Knipex pliers wrench is one of those tools that has found far more uses than I would have guessed.

Aight. I bought the 10-incher. I misplaced one of my Knipex Cobras at work, and needed something else to replace it with (and I wanted a pair of smooth jaws). Just got home, and 20 seconds after opening it, I'm returning it. I did not expect Knipex quality at all, but damn, I did not expect the handle to completely separate from the jaw. Linking a video I made showing what I mean.
