My windows have a recess so I was able to put it in there, behind the blinds. I put blackout curtains.

btw the end pop off to make it easy to fit curtains with narrow tailoring

Closet pole sockets will work.

I use an IKEA tension rod to hang my towels. I have it installed above my shower. I use those white plastic clip hangers from target that shows sizes s/m/l to hang my towel up after toweling https://imgur.com/a/gSXthLi

Received them today. Actually much nicer and better looking than expected. Add some chains you can make an xtra long nunchuck.
