Costco $199 with an extra year of Apple care still seem like a better deal?

Extra year of AppleCare for AirPods is $15 on Apple's website.

I think September is usually the phone/watch/airpod timeframe and then expect any new generation of airpod to be $249 or even higher knowing Apple. With the recently released non pro models having a new chip and active noise cancelling around this price, I can't imagine these go much lower so this is a pretty safe buy at this price IMO.

New Airpod pros are rumored to have improved battery performance if that is a thing that matters, as well as some health benefit / gimmick that may or may not pan out like most of apples health releases.

Anyone had experience using these in hearing aid mode for mild hearing loss? Setup requires an apple device and app, but my understanding is once set up they can be used on an Android device as well.

I've had to return these due to the right earbud not charging. Ive seen others complain about this same issue for years. Is this due to bad batches? Should I try again? Like statistically I should be ok if I bought from a different retailer?

Costco has forever return policy on these. So technically forever warranty.
It's 90 days now for electronics

I don't know, but it seems like that's the kind of thing that would arise within the one year hardware warranty. So I wouldn't be too concerned. If you have an issue, take him to the Apple Store and swap them for a new pair. If you're still concerned after the initial warranty, you could always pay $15 for an extra year of Applecare+ - https://www.apple.com/support/pro...eadphones/

I have the AirPod pro 1 lasted me 4 years until one of them started having issues
It's still usable for meetings

I was gonna wait for the pro 3
Is it worth waiting for pro 3?
