This one may be aluminum for one. I've been using two aluminum apple keyboards for my windows PC's. One of which is TEN years old and zero issues with the key pads. The only other apple product I have is an old iPad that I use for browsing when on the couch, so not a fanboy.

I'm a borderline fanboy. I have an aluminum keyboard as well, But I wouldn't think it's worth more than $50. I have a $10 keyboard that has lasted just as long. I'm not seeing this.
