Two moderate issues with this driver. If you drop it there's a solid chance you're breaking one or both latches for the bit storage. Broke mine the first day, broke the replacement the 2nd. The lock for the bit holder is also very easy to unlock and drop a bit out of when you're laying across a cable tray 15' in the air and now you don't have a bit.

Static is not a big deal with building PCs. Most components are very resistant to being damaged by static. Typically insulated drivers are for people who work with AC voltage. They DO NOT mitigate ESD (static electricity)
