It's Ok. We cook and eat rice and fried rice quite a bit, so was looking for something quick for those times when you're in a hurry.
There's a little bit of an "odd" taste to this. Can't quite put my finger on it. Not a "bad" taste but more an unexpected one that's just enough to throw it off but not enough to give up on it totally
If you have it near you, our Costco (Seattle) sells a frozen fried rice that microwaves in 3 minutes. That's been our in-a-rush go-to for a year or so and is definitely better than this one.
This is shelf-stable and ok in a pinch if you don't have alternatives, tho.
