The backpack part of this is great, I adapted it to my Hart 40v cordless leaf vacuum (identical to Ryobi 40v). https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JXQHO9s9O20 I used this guy's 3d printed part at first and it's fine, but then discovered using a plastic gutter to drainage pipe adapter works even better.

Went thru the 1 star reviews..Saw a lot of them saying they either did not work right out of the box or failed after a few days...FYI one of the reviews stated that the fan blade is made of plastic, so would get damaged quickly when used to mulch. Learned the hard way to stay away from leaf blowers that state they mulch and have plastic blades...

I bought one of these… different brand but looks identical… about 13 years ago. Went to use it once and what a piece of garbage. Couldn't get rid of it fast enough. Skip this.

I bought this about two years ago. While it seems like it would do an awesome job picking up and mulching the leaves, it does not.

Bought this a while back and ended up giving it away. It was weak, the mulch/bag feature only worked on very light and dry leaves with no sticks. If a small stick got sucked in you had to take it al apart and get it out. You also have to empty the bag every couple of minutes. Not very practical or useful imo.
I found that a mulch kit on a mower is the way to go with leaves. No bag if you do it often enough in the fall. The mulched leaves are actually good for the grass and there are no messy bags to empty or haul off. I leave the mulch kit on the mower during grass cutting season too. Grass looks great and it couldn't be easier. Unless you let your grass grow way out of control there should be no reason to bag.

I used this to blow in insulation in my house. The post saying it's a plastic fan blade is true but it's still very durable.
