Looks like it beeps when you sit on it? We have a higher end Moen bidet, and that beep has been one of the reasons we wanted to move to other brand… A major consideration if you value quiet operation.
That's is such a horrible design. Like who needs confirmation, "you're now seated on a toilet"?
I've got a kohler e815 from Costco, only beeps when pressing the remote. Another thing I don't need, confirming I pressed a button on a bidet remote so my partner knows it.
Someone actually have an electric plug next to their toilet like that?
Came back from a trip to Japan. Bidets in every bathroom/restroom in the entire country. Used it for two weeks and came home and installed outlets next to the toilet and 4 Toto bidets. Now I cannot ever go back to not having one.
Outlet is an easy install if you have a crawl space or basement. For upstairs, go through the attic. My outlets look like it has always been there.

I can't go back either. One awful thing about returning to in office work is the lack of the bidet. I'm working on training my schedule for out of the office dumps.
I was fortunate that the light switch in the master bath is just behind the toilet so adding the outlet was an hour of work. The other bathrooms....not so much; just as you implied.
Wow. I've had a basic bidet that's not electric for about 5 years now. Always wanted a nice heated one but I don't have a plug near the toilet. I do have a light switch though. I never thought to tie into that wiring to add a receptacle. Thank you so much for the idea!
