Yep, to me that's what made them unique. I've never seen a small size tote made solid like these nor anywhere near this price point.... I hate filling a medium size tote only half full which takes up more room in my rig. These were perfect for my uses.

6 QT sterilite 10 pack for $11.
Not as durable, but they are clear. Can stack about 6 of these. I have 40 of these. Dollar store also has them, but they are brittle and will crack.

Thank you. I've bought these also and they do have their place, but always seem to degrade/break down over time.
For me, the Slick Deal sometimes means spending twice as much for an item that will last 3-4 times as long.

went to the local store and they had two without lids. They ended up giving them to me for free. Crazy how viral these have gone. This store had them on the shelves over the weekend and they're already cleared out.

Without the lids I guess I'll just store some things outside in it.

I just picked up 20 of them and they are small but have a lot of uses for small items. They do nest 4 on a lid of a 27 gallon bin.

Apparently not available in Las Vegas, NV or Southern California. No idea why they don't ship in those cities/areas

They are available in southern California. I just picked up 10 of the blacks with the yellow lids. I will be picking up 30 of the clear bins with yellow lids after work.

Anyone has the wooden dimensions for the shelves for the mini bins? Thx

My point being that when you log into Home Depot website they're not able to ship to locations like LA or Las Vegas. Have to go in store.

These are very, very, very appreciated - thanks for posting the deal. I'm a big nerd about shop organization and I can go on and on about why the Greenmade 12ga bins at Costco are the perfect storage bins. I organize everything by task, and the bins help with organizing smaller tools, supplies and scraps. It's really helpful to have something smaller than 12ga for smaller equipment. Greenmade came out with an ammo box kit that's good for organizing smaller stuff like soldering, but they're still a little too small for a lot of hand tools out there. These 6.5qt bins are a huge help.

These don't have the same quality as the Greenmade bins, but they look like they're gonna be great for the light duty tasks they're designed for. Much better latching and seal than the Sterilite shoe boxes, and they don't attract roaches/silverfish/etc. like cardboard does.

Many thanks, from a niche use case.

Cool! There were over 200 of the clear and about 150 of the black at my local HD. They were is several floor stock cardboard kiosks in a couple of places in the store.

Heck, you can't even buy a nice cardboard box for $2.50!

168 in stock for Pickup for Clear
146 in stock for Pickup for Black

for the Home Depot nearest me. I have 10ish of the black ones in the 'normal' tote size, so wondering if I should get the black to match or get clear for practicality of seeing what's inside without opening it hmm..what would you get?

I was excited for these. However they are super tiny. The picture does not do it justice. Think a of oversized jeweler box. I couldnt find any use for these. Maybe store some emergency hand tools in your trunk? If I was to stack all my tools in these like another comment mentioned I would have to build something custom.

These wouldnt be useful for store clothes or towels. Maybe something for a small project or small kid toys.

I think 7-13gal is more my sweet spot

I will say the price point is amazing. You wont find a tough bin in this size for anything less than 7-9 bucks.
Think small electronics like USB & HDMI cables, chargers, adapters, PC cards, remotes, etc. Maybe supplements or meds, socks, gloves, etc. For me these might be perfect for various small tools and tool accessories, like drill bit sets, pliers, wire wheels, boroscope, stethoscope, etc. I.e. semi-random stuff that doesn't really go anywhere else.

My actual power tools, and larger handheld ones like socket sets, ratchets, breaker bars, etc., I keep in tool boxes & bags.
