Yo this keyboard is Chefs-kiss, if you're debating, you can always return it, but it's definitely worth it at this price. I can't explain it but once I got this keyboard case it felt like my iPad went from well a iPad 🤣 to a legit work machine and comes in clutch so many times when I'm on the go. I use to rock the separate Apple keyboard, it was cumbersome but this man, you have to just try it. 🙄Don't judge me I bought the one I have now used, so I'm buying this one because well I'm obviously wanting the new car smell and the one I got used was pretty tattered. By the way, not having to charge a keyboard or look for it when I need it is umm✨❤️. Thank you KUJayHawk08, it arrives today free shipping🙏🏿

That has always been the issue with the Magic Keyboard. It really only works with a "naked" iPad. However, a company called Pitaka makes a thin case that is compatible with the magic keyboard. Switcheasy, Spigen and a few others also make cases. However, all leave the bottom edge of the iPad exposed. Pitaka offers a folio that goes with the case back to fully protect the iPad. However that edge is still exposed if you remove it from the folio. For these reasons (and the fact that the Magic Keyboard is as heavy as a laptop), I stopped using my keyboard.

Correct only up to pro 6th gen currently is 7th and not compatible magnets and connectors shifted and iPad Pro is now thinner so not advised for new one.
