read the 1 star reviews on both of these before jumping
Was about to say, I checked for scroll-wheel complaints, and the Prime+ had quite a lot. The Prime Mini didn't have enough reviews to judge separately, but I assume it's likely to share components . Darn, I've had my eye on these for a while as an option for optical switches outside of Razer.

I haven't had too much problem with it, and then I realized I just don't use the scroll wheel except for scrolling web pages which you know actually I do more on my phone now.
I used to have a steel series stratus xl and it was the single worst controller I've ever had. Everything was broken or incompatible with whatever you tried to connect it to. Hopefully they have improved since then.

i was ready to jump on the mouse and controller too. read the reviews and thought better of it
So I bought this about a year ago, same price, same deal. At first it seemed really cool, using it in via USB adapter is pretty smooth if you're not like 8-10ft away(my PC is hooked up to my TV so I sit far back). Further you are the more likely it will drop signal. 6ft is NOT far.
However! That's where it ends. If you try Bluetooth it's a miserable experience. Not only do the lights continually blink, and never stop blinking to let you know you're on Bluetooth, it just doesn't communicate with older android/apple devices. The ones that do it cuts off periodically and you have to reconnect. Steelseries is a reputable brand, but they really dropped the ball on this one.

I'm always vexed by the Prime-only free shipping on Woot deals, but this time the price is still pretty tempting even with the shipping. Hrmmm...
