Save yourself headache and money by getting this model instead. It uses AAA batteries. The OP one is a great deal but uses lithium.
Keeping one of these in your car seems like a great idea until you discover the batteries are dead. This is why I keep analog pencil gauges in my vehicles.
From the reviews, it looks like this takes LR44s for the tip LED (which I likely won't replace at failure) and a CR2032 for the digital gauge. I already keep CR2032s on hand for GM vehicle remotes and alarm transmitters, so it's a go for me. Devices like this and digital calipers often have a tiny parasitic draw that will kill a battery within months or a year, so I either remove the battery or rig a cheap disconnect to keep the battery out of circuit when not in use. This stretches battery life to years with occasional use.

Got one too. Been needing a portable tire pressure gauge to replace the one I've had the past 18 years that suddenly stopped sealing.

Great deal; thanks for posting. I keep one in every vehicle's glovebox, and one on the motorcycle. This is at the top of the list of basic tools to have onboard at all times.

I needed one of these after somehow misplacing my previous one.
This is a great deal.
I was surprised at how much the basic non-digital ones are at Walmart/Target.
Thanks OP!

Why wouldn't you just get a portable pump that has a pressure gauge on it instead?

Agreed 100% and batteries don't last that long and cheap LR44 batteries leak if you don't use them right away from the package. At least the cheap Chinese ones.

I also recommend paying extra and getting the better gauge with AAA batteries.

You should have both. Pump gauges aren't that accurate generally plus you don't want to have to take out an entire pump and go around to each wheel with it anytime you want to check your tire pressure. Plus, pumps usually require you to thread the head onto the stem rather than just press it against it.

I wonder what is the cost of the product if it's on 70% off sale
