They have a promotion for "Spend $500; Save $50" and it looks like that extra $50 discount was added during my checkout even though it was priced at $499.99 after the $70 discount.

Also returning Apple products to Amazon is not as easy as dropping it off at Kohl's. Kind of a pain really.

Overall the M3 in the ipad isn't a huge difference but I do notice the battery life is better.
For me have a 2 gen newer ipad that I use for hours per day is worth it. I believe the M3 is significantly more power efficient.
