True, ofc, but that's not really the point. If you're already invested in a 10th/11th gen MB, RAM, etc. and you just want a fairly cheap bump in speed (say you have an i3-10xx - this i9-10xx is a huge jump from that...) then this will fill that need very well for $130. (And perhaps a better fan)

Currently I have a i7-10700k and looking at reviews this i9-11900k is unfortunately not worth the upgrade. I'll have to buy a new mobo to get the extra 10% out of my 4070 ti super bottlenecked by LGA 1200 😭
