Thanks for posting. Grabbed a few different weights. Only used Yozuri so far and fairly new to surf fishing so going to give this stuff a shot.

Stealth is the only Spiderwire I haven't removed out of frustration. Prefer PowerPro or Jbraid, but at this price it's worth snagging.

The spidewire EZ braid gets terrible reviews but I've had great luck with the stealth stuff. For this price I'll grab it in green and see how it goes. Thanks, OP.

dang I had two 30lb in the cart and by the time I went to check out they were out. Got a spool of 8lb for a BFS rod, though.

Edit: went back and there was a single spool available. Nice

30lb break strength is the equivalent of what lb test? 15?

nm.. looked it up.

lbs TEST is the minimum breaking point.

Breaking strength is the MAX the line ever held before breaking.

So 30lb Break strength is like 20-25lbs Test I would guess. Lbs TEST is much more useful to a simpleton like me.

When a line says 30lb breaking strength, it often equates to a 20–25lb test rating, depending on the manufacturer's safety margin. Brands usually build in a buffer so the line doesn't fail under the advertised test rating.
