Feels like a very small delay in sound. How can this be fixed? I'm listening to detailed musician videos, and the slight delay is killing me. Any recommendations are greatly appreciated. I'm on a Samsung TV connected via Arc and streaming from a 4k fire TV stick using YouTube. Super fast internet speed. On TV alone works perfectly, and the soundbar is causing this small delay, certainly a fraction of a second delay. Thanks!! For details, the fire stick is connected to the other HDMI on the TV.

Ordered this. It seems like a good value, but it was slightly annoying to set up. Had to power cycle both the TV and the soundbar several times to resolve audio sync issues. Sound is good quality--I set it back to the TV speakers later to test and was surprised at how small they sounded.

I bought and installed this earlier in the week. I'm happy based on the cost… Not sure what people are looking for at $80.

Wall mounting was a PIA… the provided hardware is garbage. The anchors looked good but didn't hold in the wall - had to use my own. The brackets mount on a unique round grommet that looks like a good idea but cause the speaker to point down some (which might be by design due to the Atmos) but doesn't look so good.

For my bedroom it is just fine. Just wanted to upgrade to a bar with HDMI ARC which this has.

This has a sub, though?

According to my 2 min read on the Visio you mentioned, the TCL may not have as much bass.

Compared to the short BOSE soundbar for the same price (refurb) without a sub, I think the TCL sounds better.
I can honestly say I prefer the Vizio I had up before. Something about this soundbar+sub setup is just off. Voices aren't as clear and as another user mentioned, the bass is frequently too much. I've tried all the different presets (including "night" mode which is a must since we live in a ranch and bedrooms are too close to the living room for heavy bass) and it's just not that good. If I simply unplug the sub, there's no bass whatsoever and the sound is tinny and annoying.

I'm not an audio snob by any stretch, but I think a quality soundbar (which the Vizio is) is a better buy than this with its separate sub. This is certainly a step up over TV speakers, but $80 feels like it should be the normal price, not the sale price. It's just not that good.

How much was that? Mine does not have these modes so maybe mine is different from this one. I definitely had the bass low or at 0 IIRC for better balance.

I think it's a $125 worth and $80 is a good deal. Definitely wont be paying anywhere near $200 for this.

The Vizio was $80 in 2020. It has modes, as well, but I set it on one and didn't touch it after that. Can't remember which mode I used.

You're saying the unit you got from this thread doesn't have any modes? Mine are set on the remote, along with "night" being the top left button that also changes the brightness of the lights. I have a TCL Roku TV, and it lets me change the modes using the TCL/Roku sound settings, too. I have to use "TV" mode or the bass overwhelms the dialogue; night mode leaves the dialogue kind of muffled, but at least the bass isn't blowing up with every little thing.

I really don't understand how anyone can like this unit. Maybe it's the space I've got it in (an open concept living/dining/kitchen).

I also have the small 2.0 TCL and it is pretty decent for what it is, I have been pleasantly surprised. Makes me want to try this. The photos of the drivers inside make this look like a 3.1.2, with a center channel, no? That would be nice for dialog
I did tested after grabbing this deal with youttube video/audio test 5.1 clips , Center speaker(channel?) exists as shown in one of the picture. Upfirings works are ok but don't expect realistic surround and working but prefer 5.1 surround. Subwoofer is high on bass even on low settings good for boom liker's. Just the bar works but not good without Subwoofer. Decent price for first users like me. I feel 5.1 is more realistic Atmos than 2.1.x.

Agree on many points. I have a 10+ year old vizio sound bar I still use, and the sound is clearer, especially voices.

For bass, I did turn it up for myself, and do appreciate a nice bass. Is the bass better than my vizio? Sounds very similar in that aspect.Overall, I was disappointed.

Mine has the night/dim mode, and just noticed the surround on/off button next to it. But the only other modes are movie/TV/music.

Mine is in a bedroom and I sit ~ 8ft from it so the experience may be different. Having low ceilings likely amplify the "atmos" experience for me (which really annoy me more than anything) but it is there.
