This thing is overpriced as others have said. The $20 more brushless version is better if you plan to use your jig saw a lot.

If you only occasionally need jig saw, the HF Hercules brushless which can be had on sale for $50 is the better buy, often comes with a battery and charger for $99 or you can return the charger/battery if you only need the tool. Not mention the HF one also comes with a 5 year warranty beating out the cheap no-name amazon ones.

Hercules design engineers are ex-dewalt guys, so they tend to copy dewalt tools mostly. If you don't want Hercules batteries, you can get $25 adapter online to use your dewalt batteries in their tools.
