Got this one couple of years ago. It failed and stopped flushing. Reached out to support which is in China so take 1 entire day to get back and obviously it was out of warranty. So had to buy the entire seat part for almost 400$. Suggest buying woodbridge. It's expensive but has better support.

Oh about that, once you go on this sort of toilet, you are never pooping again in a a non bidet toilet. It is one of those quality of life improvement that everyone in your family will agree upon. If it breaks again(which it will in about 2 years), I will buy it again.

I have a basic biobidet and I'm not convinced. Maybe I can convince myself this is a good idea and pull the trigger.

Sounds like horror
HomeDepo is like amazon now, selling thirdparty crap from china. Take shower door. Same item listed under different brands. Even identical pictures in the listing.

1000% percent. I can't believe it took me so long to try one. America is living in the stone age. If everyone swaps over to bidets, what will people hoard at the stores during the next pandemic?

Great info. Do you have a link for Woodbridge and what you believe is a decent slickdeal price? Thank you!!!!

I tried one in the Middle East about 10 years ago and now have a bidet installed in 4 bathrooms. I've got the Brondell CSL-40 handheld with the hot/cold valve which is amazing. Americans have no idea what they're missing out when it comes to a nice, warm rinse after a #2.

I got the B0990s during Thanksgiving couple of years ago for 900$. Flush performance for this one also changed to poor after about 2 years. Reached out to support and they sent parts for free even though it is out of warranty. After installing the new valve, it's back to being new.
I have this automatic toilet and have same issues after about 2 years. If I were to buy a new toilet - I'd go with some decent "dumb" toilet + smart seat.
Since no one has mentioned, I would suggest to buy Toto toilet. It is still the best quality per dollar in the market. Toto has integrated toilet or separate washlet to install on toto toilet. It is a bit more expensive but not too pricey.

If you are on the fence there are 30ish add on, I still daily drive.
Last time I shopped for a bidet, there was a constant stream of spammers on Reddit pushing "Horow" products in every thread, which told me everything I need to know.
With that said, my experience with Brondell, Kohler and BioBidet add on bidets haven't been great either. Something breaks, sometimes within a year. But if they fail it is just the heated seat or water heater. I wouldn't want to risk the whole toilet with a "no name" brand.
Think I am biting the bullet and buying an expensive Toto next time.
My parents have the Kohler version of this that they spend around $4,000 on... it's no better than the swap out seat that I got from Costco for 1/10th the price..
The only thing I'd say is it's "truly" elongated. When you add-on the swap out seats, there's certainly more space than a round bowl, but definitely not "true" elongated anymore. But for the price differential, I'm willing to live with it.
Also - theirs is 6 years old now - and something stopped working - it was a pita to get parts from Kohler.
This price makes it more palatable - but to me, a swap out seat is much better - unless you want this just for the looks.

I've had a handheld bidet since I met the now wife - which she's gladly ignored for the past 10+ years.
Having just returned from 2 weeks in Japan last week, I've now been tasked to get one of them fancy bidets with heated water, seat, and air drier.
Inasmuch as I'd like to pull the trigger on one of these, the house is pretty new and the toilets are technically fine.
Other than looks, any reason to go with these than the "seat type" ones? Based on the above comments, not sure if I'm willing to replace toilets (or parts of it) every 2 years.
