I just grabbed these. I know nothing about fishing, but the kids are excited.

this seems like a good price for a name brand fishing pole.

I just bought ugly stick from sams club. Comes with two pole with reel and some hooks and floats for $40. They are pretty short (36 ins)and thought my 7 years old would have no problem using it in long run. Quality is great for the price. https://www.samsclub.com/sams/sho...ng%20Combo

These are great for cats. Tie a snap-swivel on the end of the line and attach whatever feathery cat teaser you want, then cast it and let your cat chase while you reel it back in.

Way better than the crappy ones that are sold as cat toys. For best results the teaser needs to have a little weight to it.
