I got this same deal for 99$ a few weeks ago! Great company and great products...it was just 30$ cheaper...no sales tax for me either at the time

I look for $10 per ah. $100 is the max I'd pay for these batteries even with a charger. I have so many chargers I decided to sell some. It took me 1.5 months to sell 2x 6amp and 1x4amp chargers for $80. They just don't resell locally (San Antonio)

They are the same batteries (DCB205). Last year, DeWalt removed the XR branding from this battery and so the newer ones don't have XR on them, but are made up of the same cells (10 x Samsung 25R 18650s). There was also a modification to the circuit where the battery level indicator remains on for a couple of seconds after you remove the button. This change happened a little bit before the removal of the XR branding, so some XRs have the new circuit. Overall, the non-XR ones are preferable since they have a newer manufacture date and are guaranteed to have the newer circuit.
In the latest lineup, the 5Ah battery that is branded as XR is the DCBP520 POWERSTACK.
