These look like horrible mixing bowls. Straight sides/cylindrical shape does not allow for good mixing. It should be bowl shaped -- like its name should imply.

Maybe prep bowls like the picture shows. Unless you are only mixing one ingredient you ain't mixing sh*t in those.

I wonder if these would be okay to use in the microwave. There are various thoughts on this, but some say you can use round metal bowls in the microwave as long as they don't have any handles or other shapes other than round.

This "deal" adds evidence to the claim that SD is full of shill "deals". All you have to do is read the reviews of this product on Kohl's website. This set received generally negative reviews related to the fact that they were deemed to be too small to be considered "mixing" bowls.

No hot deal found here ...
