Seriously thanks!
Ive had ES60s in my wishlist for months waiting for them to drop to to or below $385 (Previous low on Amazon)
This is ever better!
Ive been piecing my set together piece by piece when stuff goes on sale.
Now just gotta find the Elite sub or something better so I can complete the set!

I'm glad I could help! I was looking for some things for my living room setup and came across them. I'm going to go for a center channel first myself

"33% bought 1" - Make sure you buy two! Hope the (2) at the end of the name doesn't throw anyone off.
I'm a fan of Polk from a value proposition though normally stay in the deeper end of their pool, while I'm not familiar with this model which seems to be a budget entry level... the 1" High-Resolution Terylene Tweeter I can vouch for and say is absolutely excellent for the price, does tons of the home theater heavy lifting, dialog and really a lot more but with really good soundstage, and when you need it the 6.5 inch woofer really does dig deeper than any of the 5 inch options from Polk, having only the single powered woofer means you don't have to stress about having enough power to drive it fully, which is probably ideal for most.
The two passive radiators are more show than function but 1 good tweeter and 1 good woofer a modest home theater amp or even a 75$ good class D amp + room for a later subwoofer upgrade to fill in the rest of the lowest frequency is a really solid upgrade from a soundbar or tv speaker or music listening setup.
Oh I just noticed the sale includes higher end models like the ES60 and ES55, if you have the cash to spring for those, don't hesitate, the 55 is probably a sweet spot with the upgraded woofer from the 50, I doubt the extra woofer on the 60 has ever made a difference though that's what I own, the ES line is some of the best bang buck speakers you wont regret in the long term IMO, I bought more for my garage, office and bedroom. The 60s are efficient for their format but still need decent power to drive six total 6.5 inch woofers, if you don't see yourself investing in a bigger amp the pair of 5.5 inch woofers on the ES50 with may be a compromise to make.
Would the ES50 be an upgrade to Klipsch Synergy F3 speakers? Technically, I don't have issues with the F3s.
Personally I dislike the tweeter/horn of the Klipsch compared to the polk and own a similar model of each, but what you are describing is probably a bit of a sidegrade (6.5 inch woofer down to 5.5, audiophiles can debate all day but I think that just comes down to physics), maybe the ES55 but even then I would ask what you are looking for or feel you are missing.
That said the ES series LOOK amazing and passes my wife's approval.

Thanks for that; TBH, these were a hand-me-downs and are quite old. I was just checking if these polks would be upgrades since tech gets better through time.

I've got two Polk Monitor 60 Series II towers for my fronts in my 7.2.2 theater setup and I've been considering upgrading them. Would the ES50's be an upgrade, or would I have to jump to the ES55's before seeing much improvement?

Same-ish, bought the whole Monitor II 5.1 setup (70s, 40s, CS1) back in '09 and its still great. Curious if the fidelity is better when mostly listening to 320kbps mp3s over BT

The ES60s are tempting but I really do want them in brown, hmm…
