While I loved my NES one, I ended up returning it within about a week. A separate numpad just didn't work with my flow. Having a calculator mode that could be used outside the computer was cool, but I found that I vastly preferred a full keyboard instead.
These are high quality for the price, well built and plug-n-play. If the aesthetics appeal to you in any of their forms, and you know you want a separate pad, it's a great buy!
I'd say this is still a bit expensive even if it is on sale. I'd be more interested in these if they were in the $20s.
Whether or not you need all its features is up to you, but for a solidly-built numpad with calculator mode, BT, 2.4G, and quality switches, it's a very competitive price. And if you have an 8bitDo keyboard, it magnetically sticks to it to keep it nicely aligned.
All that before the slick styling, of course, though I prefer the NES version.

We are living a mix of consumerism, nostalgia and self indulgence, I guess.
