Pairing a 5090 with a 285 should be considered a hate crime
Yall really need to do some googling on the performance difference between a 285 and the amd equivalent. The fanboy hate is supppper toxic at this point. The 285 excels at productivity usage (video editing, etc) and has MAYBE a 3% dip on max 4k gaming compared to its AMD equivalent. They had a rough launch but the same remains true in previous generations… intel decent for gaming better for productivity work, and amd better for gaming less so for productivity work. And at these price points, it's so negligible…

9800X3D is about 30% faster at 1080p. Even if you never run 1080p, it will also age much, much better than the 285 allowing you to keep the computer much longer. They did it to save a few bucks in parts costs (and not really that much) especially considering the original MSRP is $5500.
This is mostly incorrect and ignores that a ton of the intel issues have been resolved with updates.

If you are buying this for productivity/work, it will do fine, but if you are a gamer, then there is a lot to gain with the AMD CPU'sThis is a steal considering the price of the GPU itself is hovering around 3K+
A *minor gain. 3% boost in performance isn't a lot, and just in gaming.

Let's spend $120 more for a inferior CPU. 9800x3d is where it's at for gaming. As far as productivity it gets debatable.

Windforce 5090 is about $100 less. But this is definitely pretty good for a prebuild.
Yeah, the parts do seem to be high quality judging by the motherboard so it has that going for it

If you have it what AIO, RAM, MOBO and GPU did it come with?
