My S90D 77' TV is having a power supply issue—its OLED screen won't turn on, and the red standby light remains off. Currently waiting for Samsung Care to arrive this Friday o fix this quality defect. Given my current experience, an extended warranty would be a wise investment.
Is that with EPP? I am also planning to buy 95D model. TIA
Yeah thats the current EPP price for the S90D. The S95D is $1,999 but your EPP must be a workplace account to receive that discount. It does stack with the ($150) trade-in as long as the TV is 77" (or larger).
Also as hd411 stated, the S90D does have widespread power supply issues specifically on the 77". I've heard some people get extended Samsung Care free of charge if purchasing off Samsung.com and you complain. If you're getting this TV elsewhere, make sure you protect your purchase with an extended warranty (3rd party or credit card).
What's the S90DD is that a Sam's club Costco model. I was under the impression it was s90d
Typically these warehouse stores have their own model numbers. This prevents price matches because the model numbers don't match up with other retailers. This isn't always the case, sometime there ARE minor differences in hardware.
This isn't a bad price but after seeing frequent deals on the s90c and s89c for roughly the same price its not that enticing. Most other tvs have gotten much cheaper and higher quality (Especially mini leds) over the past year and a half. I would buy this tv at this point for 1500 tops the s90c and s89c were basically the same as this tv and getting nearly the same thing over a year later for the same price doesn't feel good When we are seeing 100 inch minileds and 83 inch b4s hit this price or even lower now.
If this was an s95d or a s90f it would be much more compelling but I bet we see this tv hit 1500 pretty soon (Before Black friday) this just isn't that compelling to someone who already passed on s89c or s90c or 83 inch b4 deals.

I've also seen MANY reports of PSU issues on the 90D and 95D. If you do end up purchasing this TV make sure you have some sort of extended warranty.
