I hate the "soft velvet" hangers, they're a PITA to use because they don't slide into the clothes easily. The hard plastic ones or metal are much better.

I like the velvet hangers because they're 'sticky'. My clothes don't fall off inadvertently. I've never felt like they've been challenging to take clothes on or off. I'm surprised many people seem to have this struggle.

Hard to get these on the clothes, but nice that they don't fall off. Have used them, but got rid of them quickly.

This. I bought the adult size ones at Costco when they were on sale, and they're annoying. It's a struggle to get clothes on the hanger every times, as the hangers stick to every inch of the clothing, so you have to slowly work the clothes on inch by inch.
