If that was the case then India would not have so many people. They eat A LOT of turmeric.

This is very rare and happens because there are rare instances where people cannot metabolize tumeric very well. If you have already been taking tumeric + black pepper and haven't had any symptoms of liver damage, then you should be fine.

Is the Sports Research any better than this:

https://www.amazon.com/Carlyle-Tu...sccl_1_2_i

Almost 1/3 the price even after the 40% off. Also, each capsule is double the dosage, 1000mg vs 500mg.

super inferior. Your link is a "proprietary blend" which means they can put 1mg of 95% curcuminoids or they can put a ton of it. But mostly probably it is a low amount. In this one, it is all 95% curcuminoids, so it is almost surely much better. The regular turmeric is not the same.

You also really do not know how to read labels or you read it far far too fast. The one you linked has 1000mg in TWO capsules. So if you read it and divide by 2 to get the amount for one capsule, it is still 500mg vs 500mg. Your comment is very unhelpful.

he means research if there's any 3rd party testing on this product or any of the manufacturers other products because it can be highly variable the quality/amount of ingredient you actually get. it's amazing how fraudulent companies can be and how widespread it is in the supplement industry. I try to only buy major name brands like NOW.
