Can you elaborate? I bought a refurbished item from Best Buy with similar setup but don't know much about it. I was told you don't have to vent to window- is that true? What's disadvantage of single hose?

You will have to vent the hot air out through window. Also single hose creates a vacuum which draws more hot air from outside of the room. It's pretty useless

For smaller rooms, the dual hose vs single hose argument is less important. At $155, this is a good deal

None for me either. At least not the normal checkbox coupon that sits in the middle of the page. I tried Firefox, Chrome, and Edge on a PC.

The coupon was there earlier. It's no longer there. Probably has been used up.

Super pro tip: Turn on your central ac fans to mimic a dual hose portable ac design. This is because while this unit sucks air from outside the room (negative pressure), the central ac fans will bring in air from outside the room (positive pressure).
