The Para 2/3 are the only one I have made in Colorado and the rest are Japanese if I recall. I like them all, and they all have their place. The Para 2/3 are smoother flickers because of the brass washer, but as far as speed goes, I dont think you can open anything faster than a Delica/Endura/Endela/dragonfly with an Emerson opener. I have a bunch of OTF and regular autos as well - Emerson opener rules for quick deployment.
That being said - I know there may be some opinions on Dack Outdoors... I have no affiliation with them, but they have the best prices if you are absolutely not in a rush to get it. I have been buying from them for years - They ship, when they ship - but I've never been ripped off by them.
Dack sells the Para 2 for $128, Para 3 (Breast cancer pink/black) for $100, the Bodacious for $145.... (These are USA made). If you see on their site "Add to cart for best Price" - that's a good thing. Good luck.
*Pic added - small handful of my Spydercos
Agreed, for small savings or speed - Dont go to Dack. For significant savings though, might be worth the wait.
Example:
Screenshots: one of my Dack orders ($400) vs same Skus in BladeHQ ($644) cart = $244 savings for 3 knives.
Para 2 s110v in Blurple g10 [bladehq.com]
Para 3 x110c in Blurple g10 [bladehq.com]
Dragonfly 2 Black s30v in pink [bladehq.com]
EDIT: I just noticed that SmartTek has the same Para 2 s110v in Blurple. With the discounts code and taxes = $202 subtotal + $21 taxes = ~$223
https://www.smarttektra
Vs Dack = $164 no tax + shipping is probably between $5-$10 = ~$175

Perfect Apples to Apples comparison. ~$50 savings.
With all that said, yes none of these prices are that special but that's not to say they aren't good prices if you're in need. If it's the same price on Amazon though, I'd buy from there instead. At least you have their no questions asked support if you get a clone or something.

Rapidly and easily cutting webbing, rope, tubing, nets, snarls of fishing line in a pulling or freeing motion. Fishing, boating, diving and snorkeling- its H1 and H2 steels are nearly impervious to rust. It's very much a form over function design it works damn well. The yellow high-viz handles are a signature of the Salt series (although they do come in blacked out, light green/blue/purple varieties). The color makes it quickly visible in brackish/murky water and low light. Bright yellow disappears much less quickly than say red as you get deeper underwater- blue being the last color to disappear underwater but not having any contrast (if that makes any sense).

Ah, yeah that makes sense. I hadn't considered the high visibility angle. Most of my knifes are black oxide coated so they don't draw attention when I pull one out trying to cut this or that. Probably why I keep losing them. 🤷🏼
Thanks for the info.
It would be nice is we all could say a Lexus and a mansion on the beach for me or nothing but most people are not in that place.
I always found I put off people if I like to point out I can afford things they can't . instead of expressing a sentiment that just makes me look like a braggart and bigshot I may point them to one of the many very nice non American made knives that will do all they need for maybe $20 or a little more. I have $30 knives that I like and find more useful than my American made Spydercos. If my only knowledge about knives comes down well I can afford a nice one and you can't it is of little or no use to anybody.

You do no American a favor by shaming someone that may be struggling with money to hand it to a corporation for a luxury high end knife. If anything most Americans have to shun that mentality as they already spend way to much on status and class conscious items. It is the along the lines of you need $500 sneakers or Lexus to go to school or you are not in with the cool crowd.
Should we really recommend a father or mother spend $200 for a knife for budget camping trip that cuts into the food, fuel energy budget but raises Spyderco's bottom line? Not all Americans make money working for Spyderco and like many companies most profit is transferred to the white collar that work in the corporation as workers wages stay stagnant. Transferring wealth from an American working class person to the American with a MBA helps one American and hurts another. If I spend $20 on China versus $200 on an Spyderco I have $180 for groceries or the electric bill. I can pay to the local contractor to fix my roof or spend at the local hardware store. No need for me to send it of to Spyderco's corporate headquarters that is in another state and does not help or benefit my local family, friends or community.
Many just do not have the money for them. To Spyderco's credit the company does have some sense and does not forget about those Americans like you do and they offer them cheaper knives made in other places yet you then come in and sour and shame that idea for the American.
I get you point as to American manufacturing but you are looking at very complicated issue and just use you purchase choices to virtue signal as you can afford a high end knife.
