I have yet to see any other MC stores price match one of their store grand opening deals, except the >50 reputation posters always claiming they did.

This'll go on the same or similar sale at most microcenters soon I bet. They've offered the previous gen Omen laptops around 900 for several generations now. I'm literally typing this on an omen 16 11800h/3070 I bought from the westmont IL microcenter 3 years ago on a similar sale (and open box, and microcenter card discount
)

This is confirmed. I live near Santa Clara and tried to price match the $879 Surface Pro 11 OLED (usually $1199) at Best Buy and they said their system won't allow that big of a discount to price match it properly.

We couldn't get microcenter deals before as they don't ship. Now we got grand opening and special deals. Got one at posted price last week. Noisy fans and a lapburner under gaming load but does the job well.

Omen 16" Vs Nitro 17" - I assume upgrading memory is easy on Nitro. So, the difference is the GPU, screen and I prefer AMD. What do you guys think?

FINALLY a fricken Microcenter opens up in Silicon Valley again after the last one closed like 10 years ago? Since then, the closest one was near Los Angelos! To the guy saying don't post because it's in Santa Clara, sucks to be you if you don't have a microcenter nearby but we've missed it for over 10 years here in the Bay area, so no, please do post.
