I'd say yes. Perplexity is more of a search engine first with AI as the backbone so I find it to be great for researching things. The Pro version also lets you tap into the more expensive models of ChatGPT and Claude which is a nice perk. Definitely took advantage of this offer on my Galaxy as my 1 year of free service from Xfinity is about to expire. I got a lot of use out of Pro over the last year for sure.
