No one will disagree that these products are overpriced , but if we go off of that then almost ANYTHING we purchase is overpriced . That cell phone you got is overpriced , in two years it will be worth a fraction of what you purchased . Collecting these is stupid lol , but if you purchase a high quality stainless steel one it should last you for many years

These are one of the only brand of water bottles I will buy.
Hydroflask is one of only three major brands (+Klean Kanteen, Owala) to use no lead soldering.
Every other major brand uses lead and, while they claim to not come in contact with water, old bottles from brands like Stanley consistently test for alarming levels of lead. There are also concerns regarding PFAs, BPA, and microplastics.
So, yeah, the brand of water bottle matters A LOT. Just another example of normalized everyday poison. Your rando Chinese Amazon bottle will probably be looked at like asbestos in a couple decades.
I prefer the 32oz bottle anyway.
They don't post it much on here because they probably don't get money from referrals but Hydroflask both 32oz and 40oz in different colors is almost always available for these prices on Sierra. (You don't have to go through the Amazon binning lottery.)

The 40oz bottle is definitely much less popular than the 32oz and is usually liquidated/clearanced for roughly the same price. I have both and problem is that it only adds 8oz but it becomes a lot more unwieldy for backpacks and travel.

It's a good water bottle at ~$22 but don't overpay for it. It'll probably show up on woot again soon.
